Planning on future endevors which were going to occur, but just might happen sooner than planned. the idea of entering unprepared is the terrifying aspect.

I wish i would have gone pirating on saturday, but family dinners are always fun, especially when i get yelled at for being unlucky (LOL) and when my husband's extended family come from Scotland and rock lobster. I cant wait to go visit them.

Having a car saves so much time. Someone buy us one. k thanx.

Something's up and i couldnt really tell you what. Maybe its the creeping cold weather. Its a reminder of so many things and i only wish i had more time. Time to hang out with my parents, time to clean my house, time to have maintained a relationship with people who knew me when i was 14. Time to enjoy without feeling the obligations of my limited time.

I've been working on a website for my family. It'll be a gallery and a forum where all of us can talk and share photos. If it catches on it'll be awesome. As time goes on we all start to spread. I have cousins now in Texas, North Carolina, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Florida and in the Marines. Funny how we all started out in the same small town in Colombia. Hopefully, instead of trying to keep up with ever changing emails, we'll all have one constant place to go to and keep in touch. Plus I wont have to constantly make hundreds of CDs of the thousands of photos I always seem to take when we're together. I hope it comes out well, seeing as I've never built my own site before.

Speaking of photos, I'll put some up eventually. That and video of the Sage Francis show I went to last week if anyone is interested?

My mother-in-law gave us some cool Filipino cook books. I want to master (attempt) as many of our traditional foods as possible. Maintaining a sense of history is important to me and i want our future children to know as much as they can of who we are, and that includes my Colombian ass (which wont be difficult with my spicishly large family), their Puerto Rican grandfather, and their Filipino grandmother, (and the splash of Irish/Scottish) I sure am going to have some beautiful babies :D

My scarf isnt getting very far now that i leave to work an hour earlier and hit rush hour full on. I get no seat which means no free hands. That sucks because I really want to make things for Christmas presents. There's no money to really go shopping, and hand made stuff is always so much better. I should take some time out and try to finish it when I'm home, in between paper writing and website working. yeah i dont see that happening. sadness.

We're getting bedroom furniture, and as a gift which makes it even better.

Waiting for my train this morning i pulled out the scarf that i'm knitting for my mother. There was this Chinese lady standing near me who obviously took interest as soon as she saw what i was doing. I knitted for a good while because the train was taking an eternity when she comes closer to look over my shoulder, then proceeds to take the needles from my hand and finishes my row. too funny. She said stuff to me in Chinese and smiled, then got on the train.

Whenever my kitty poos, I tell him he's rotten inside.

It's Tuesday, feels like Monday, lazy like Monday.

OK, so, liquor. makes me talk.. alot, with no talking, it makes me write.. alot. (how i'm getting through this report i'm working on now) I have future reports that are going to be long. Something I was never good at because as an undergrad, i tended to be quick and to the point. sucking highly at making anything up to or past 10 pages long. I know i could have, but i get bored fast. Anyway, like i was saying, the good old spirits, in this case PepJack (Jack and coke, but pepsi) has assisted in past ridiculous blabbers of nonsense, why not assist in future typings of blabbers of nonsense? eh? eh?

We brought our new niffty laptop to the laundromat. Yes we did. We watchededed Bleach as the clothes cleaneded themsleves. mmhm. and now, as they dry, we do a little cyber surfing. yuhuh uh-huh.
Noel just noteced that at the Clean-rite laundromat which we currently stand, the classic blue and yellow colors are split by a lovely leaprd border. momma and baby cat laying out on a tree in the forest bordered itself with leapord print. Who ever thought of that needs a shake of my hand.

Oh so fun home is coming along. We've got the new laptop which then doubles as our bedroom television. All my remaining episodes of Bleach can now be watched. Woop.

Craigslist connected us with the most kick ass shelving sets. pictures eventually, but i'm so nerdingly happy that my books can now be out on display instead of being in plastic containers in the closet.

I don't want to go to work tomorrow. The end of the quarter is never fun. But it also gives me the drive to finish my masters ASAP. Then I can move on to summers off, vacation, benefits, and home by 4. It'll be a lot of work. teaching is fucking hard, but the benefits are so worth it. I get to sit in Cara's 3rd grade class Friday. She's my elementary school teacher hero-ess.

lots o good times have gone on, but all away from my fan-danggeled compoopter. i work in front of this monstrosity all day so when i get home i dont do much other than check my two obsessions (lj & spaceship) and then attempt some relaxation which really just consists of cooking, eating, cleaning, shower, bed with lover.

and yesterday was the worst day of all. so much work i almost resorted to tears by the end of my day, (which is two hours earlier than regular because i have class wednesday nights) so my brain kept on-a-truckin' for two 3 hour lectures, then home at 11.

i dont want to do a damn thing. hence the obvious over due lj update.
